Hermann Meier’s archives have been held by the Paul Sacher Foundation since 2009. His plans are being restored there, and are stored to professional standards. His archives include hundreds of notebooks that Meier wrote in shorthand, and which are gradually being catalogued and archived.

In 2013, Meier’s oeuvre became the subject of the research project “Das Auge komponiert” (“Composing by sight”), which concluded in the autumn of 2017 with an exhibition in the Solothurn Art Gallery.
